In the embrace of Nature

In the high embrace of an ancient oak,

two tiny, grey whispers of life emerge,

peeking out from their snug tree hole.

Their eyes, wide with the world's first light,

sparkle with the purity of new beginnings.

Freshness breathes from their tiny forms,

as the dawn of their existence dawns upon the world,

their innocence a gentle reminder of life’s perpetual renewal.

Curiosity blooms in their gaze,

tiny hearts beating with the rhythm of discovery.

They peer into the unknown, fearless and free,

untouched by the weight of the world's risks.

Their cheerfulness is contagious, a pure, untainted joy

that dances in the morning light,

lifting spirits and scattering shadows.

Witnessing this tender moment,

my heart fills with a vibrant energy.

The dark clouds that once loomed heavy dissipate,

replaced by the invigorating promise of new life.

Motivation swells within me, a fresh pulse in my veins.

I feel reborn, seeing the world through their innocent eyes,

embracing their curiosity, their cheerfulness,

their boundless potential.

In their simple existence,

I find a profound lesson—

life’s renewal, ever-present, ever-beautiful.

And like these baby squirrels,

I am filled with a newfound zest,

ready to explore the world anew.
